THS Boys Basketball Team wins second in a row |
The Tomahawk Hatchet Boys Basketball Team won their second consecutive non-conference game on Tuesday night, 47-36 over Rib Lake at the Fieldhouse..
After trailing 10-2 after the first, Tomahawk would outscore Rib Lake 13-3 in the second quarter, gaining a 15-13 at the half.
In the third quarter, Tomahawk outscored Rib Lake 13-8 and led 28-21 after three quarters.
The Hatchets outscored Rib Lake 19-15 in the fourth quarter on their way to the 11 point non-conference victory.
Jared Jarvensivu and Kyle Bartz led Tomahawk with 16 points, and Jon Nyberg added eight. |
The Hatchet JV lost to Rib Lake, Brandon Hull had 20 and Jonathan Barkholz added 15.
Tomahawk will travel to Rhinelander to Great Northern Conference action on Friday night, with the Freshman and JV games at 5:45 pm, and the Varsity tip at 7:30 pm. |

2011-12 Hatchet Hoops Boys 1 - 4th grade info |
Hatchet Hoops and the Tomahawk Hatchet Boys Basketball Team would like to invite all 1st through 4th grade boys to participate in the 2011-12 season.
The first practice for 3rd and 4th grade boys will be Saturday, December 3 at 9:00 am, with the 1st and 2nd grade beginning on January 7 at 8:00 am.

Seventh Grade Basketball Teams lose to Medford |
The 7th grade boys basketball teams hosted Medford on Monday, November 14th in their first games of the season.
In the 7th grade B game, it was Medford beating Tomahawk 39-36. Logan Franson had 22 points.
In the 7th grade A game, Tomahawk lost to Medford 44-39. Justin Jarvensivu had 14 points, Zach Volz had nine and Riley Tollison added eigth points. |
Tomahawk's 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams will play Rhinelander on Tuesday, November 15th.
The 7th grade teams host Rhinelander, with the first game at 4:00 pm, while the 8th grade is at Rhinelander at 4:00 pm. |

THS Girls Basketball Team loses at Elcho |
The THS Girls Basketball team lost on Friday night 44-43 in non-conference action at Elcho.
Jessie Harmon had 16 points, eight assists and five blocks, Stephanie Welke had eight points and Amanda Timm added seven.
Tomahawk is now 1-1, and will host Prentice on Tuesday night in non-conference action at 7:30 pm at the Fieldhouse. |

Talyn Jones had 13, Haley FauFau had eight and Danielle Collins had six. |
